LEGO has announced the Mario Kart Luigi & Mach 8 (72050), a 2,234-piece 18+ set featuring the first large-scale LEGO recreation of the Mach 8 kart with a detailed buildable Luigi figure.

The set includes a buildable Luigi figure with posable head, arms, and hands. The kart features functional steering — turning the steering wheel turns the front wheels — and spinning the rear wheels activates a flame exhaust effect. A display stand is included for angled positioning, and the model can be removed from the stand and rolled forward.
